FAQs about the program

How does the program work?

Simply attend your allocated session. Parents/Guardians are not required to stay within the centre but are encourated to remain within the South.Point shopping centre.

Is the program eligible under my child’s NDIS plan?

If your child currently has a plan and you believe what we provide will support your child’s goals, please contact us and we will be able to provide more information if our program is claimable under your funding.

How long does it run for?

The program runs for the duration of School Term 1 which is 9 weeks (or from when children start - this may be mid-term).

What if I change my mind and don’t want to continue with the program?

We understand that you may change your mind about your child participating in the program. Please refer to the acknowledgement section of your enrolment form for further information.

How much does it cost?

For the 9 week term;

Each booked session is $65 per child per session. If booking siblings, a 10% discount per child will be applied. If booking in for more than one program per week a 10% discount will also be applied.

What if my child doesn’t adjust well to the program?

Starting in a new environment for most children isn’t ‘perfect‘ and there will be some areas that they will need support with. We have both taught hundreds of children so we have a range of strategies to support children. We will work alongside you to see how we can best support children.

Can I stay in the room with them?

We are very transparent in the services we provide, including this program. We won’t hurry you out the door, but we do have an intentional time for children to transition into the program. Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns with this.

What do I need to bring?

We kindly ask you to bring a water bottle for your child. As they are only with us for an hour, we discourage food being brought to the service but will have a place where children can store their items.

Will you be running your other services the same time as this program?

No. We only run one service at a time to give it our full attention as we believe in high-quality services.

How many children will be in the program?

No group has more than 5 children. We will still run services if not all children that are booked are in attendance.
